Cotecna Guanghou held its first ever VOC seminar for Kenya (PVOC) and Côte d’Ivoire (COC) on 22nd March 2019.
As global trade continues to expand, exports from China to the Middle East, Africa and other emerging markets has been increasing steadily and constantly in recent years. As such, a growing number of governments have been upgrading their regulations and standards relating to imported products, and have been reinforcing their "Verification of Conformity"programmes.
Cotecna’s VOC seminar was aimed at helping clients better understand the VOC process and ensure that they conform to the international and local standards (PVOC/COC). The event also helped to simplify the communication between us and our clients.
Cotecna South China Manager, Cathleen Chen introduced the standard procedures and key points for all VOC contracts, and shared the studies of experiences in various products and industries .
Nearly 40 business representatives attended the seminar and the feedback was very positive. They were able to get a more in-depth understanding of the issues that can be encountered in the VOC industry and how to address them.
