What Is Climate Pledge Friendly?
The Climate Pledge is a global program launched by Amazon to promote more environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices. The program encourages manufacturers and suppliers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve resources and improve energy efficiency through third-party certification programs recognised by Amazon.
Amazon works with a wide range of external certifiers, including government agencies, nonprofits, and independent laboratories, and creates its own certifications to help differentiate more sustainable products, focusing on certifications that are reputable, transparent, and preserving the natural world.
