Cotecna GTS Works, a provider of online training for the customs and trade industry, holds its very first courses in the first half of 2019.

GTS Works (Government and Trade Solution Works) was established on February 1, 2019 in Shanghai, China. This new studio is comprised of experts from Cotecna's global Government and Trade Solution team and elite guest speakers from industries covering inspection, testing and certification, customs compliance, and import and export trade supply chains.

At the beginning of 2019, GTS Works allied with SCOM (Supply Chain and Operations Managers Association) as a strategic partner to organize its online knowledge sharing courses. Following from this partnership, GTS Works launched its very first courses.

On May 15th, Ms. Tina Zhang (Cotecna China GTS/VOC Manager) and Ms. Penny Pan (Lawyer at Beijing Dacheng (Shanghai) Law Firm, Deputy Secretary General of Fudan University Customs and Foreign Law Research Center, Master of Laws from Fudan University) held a joint online session on the topics of “non-tariff barriers / measures introduction” and “import and export trade barriers between China and the USA”.

On July 31, Mr. Marco Pardave MS, who has more than 40 years of experience in evaluating company effectiveness and solutions, was invited to share his expertise on the impact of C-TPAT on supply chain risk management from the US.

The above two courses received strong positive feedback from the audience. Cotecna GTS Works will continue to organize more sharing and training courses in the future. We welcome everyone who may be interested to participate. Meanwhile, we sincerely invite people of insight and expertise to join our growing team at Cotecna GTS Works.
