On March 10, 2023, Cotecna’s delegation led by Romain PETIT, Group Chief Operating Officer and Frank PAN, Vice President of North Asia Business Group visited Putuo District Government of Shanghai.
Together with senior government officials from various departments of Putuo Government, Mr. XIAO Wengao, Mayor of the District welcomed and hosted the meeting with Cotecna’s delegation. XIAO highlighted that this is the first meeting post-pandemic hosted by the Putuo Government for global companies.

Mr. XIAO gave the Cotecna delegation a briefing on Putuo District and congratulated Cotecna on its remarkable development since it entered China, especially its extraordinary expansion in the past three years in the wake of COVID-19 challenges. The government welcomes Cotecna’s continued investment in China and has full confidence in and have high expectations for Cotecna’s prospects in the Chinese market. For this, the government will continue delivering quality services and rendering all the support needed to Cotecna.
Mr. PETIT remarked that he was impressed by the strong message he frequently received during this China visit throughout the country – the utmost priority is now given to the economy. In this context, Cotecna remains committed to the China market with unwavering confidence and will continue enhancing and leveraging its capabilities in various sectors, to play a more significant role in advocating and advancing sustainability, international and domestic trade.
At the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on topics of mutual interest and shared insights on the economy and the market.
