Invited by the organising committee, Cotecna China is delighted to attend the Forum on Conformity Assessment in Trade Facilitation at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on 5 September 2022. Hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P. R. C. (CNCA), the forum takes the theme of “Conformity Assessment: Comprehensive Opening-up and Practices”.
Frank Pan, Vice President North Asia made a speech at the forum, highlighting the key role played by international Testing, Inspection and Certification institutions in driving trade facilitation, by leveraging their technical expertise and innovation, experience in international trade practices, global service networks and in-depth understanding of local markets.
Founded in 2012, the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is the largest comprehensive exhibition for trade in services in the world, among the three major exhibition platforms for China’s opening-up, together with China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) and the China International Import Expo (CIIE).
