The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is an annual trade fair held in Shanghai, China, and represents the world’s very first import-themed national exhibition. This event is a major initiative by China to open its market to the rest of the world. It reflects China's consistent position in supporting a multilateral trading system and promoting the development of free trade in support of economic globalization.
This year, the China International Import Expo will be bigger than ever. The exhibition area of the Expo will reach 300,000 square meters, which is 30,000 square meters more than the first. The exhibition area is divided into five major sections: equipment, consumption, health, food, and service. It has seven exhibition areas including service trade, automobile, equipment, technology life, quality life, medical equipment, medicine and health care, food and agricultural products.
