Cotecna announces its acquisition of a majority equity stake of Shenzhen Toby Technology Co., Ltd., a prominent testing laboratory network for Electrical and Electronic (E&E) products with comprehensive safety, EMC, performance, and chemical testing capabilities in South China.

Our trusted network of professionals and certified laboratories provide expertise across five key sectors: government & trade solutions, agriculture, food safety, minerals & metals, and consumer goods & retail. Founded in Switzerland in 1974, Cotecna started off as a family business and has now grown to become a world-class international player with over 6,000 employees in more than 100 offices across approximately 50 countries.
Founded in 2004 and privately owned, Toby is one of the most promising E&E testing laboratories in Shenzhen – an innovation and technology hub in China. Toby operates under CMA and ISO 17025 accreditations from CNAS and A2LA. It employs more than 90 professionals at two laboratory sites in Shenzhen.
